Rafting in Bulgaria has already established itself as an activity that brings a lot of smiles, joy and adrenaline … and at the same time can be shared with friends, family and colleagues!

We organize rafting on the Struma River every day – Monday to Sunday, from March to November.

During the weekends the descents on the river Struma are held at fixed hours: first descent at 10:00, noon at 13:00, and last for the day at 16:00.

On weekdays, if you are interested, we can organize descents at a convenient time for your group.

The rafting descent starts from Rafting Camp Adventure Net, without unnecessary transfers and waiting. At the end of the route, instant transport of all participants back to the base is provided. The latest equipment will be provided to you dry before entering the river.

Welcoming

We will be happy to welcome you at our base – rafting camp Adventure Net (130 km from Sofia and 40 km from Bansko)! You will have the opportunity to enjoy the freshness of the pine forest, and from our bar you can choose the right drink for the season 🙂 You will meet the team of rafting guides who will take care of your good mood and unforgettable adventure!

Instruction

Following is an introductory briefing on rafting and equipment. Equipment includes a neoprene suit, helmet, life jacket, paddle and neoprene boots. After checking the equipment is the basic instruction on how to row, the commands given by the guides, the behavior in the boat and the safety rules when performing and the division into boats. The shelves have a capacity of 4, 6 or 8 seats, depending on the size of the group and the boat itself.

Real conduct

The descent or stay in the water is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The route starts directly from the base of Adventure Net, and the return is made by minibuses waiting for the boats at its end.

The whole program is 3 hours, including instruction, equipment and rafting.

Difficulty of the rafting route on the river Struma

The rafting takes place in the Kresna Gorge, and the rafting route itself has a total length of 12 km – the most optimal route possible, which passes through the most beautiful rapids.
The main route is category 3 on the IRF International Six-Point Difficulty Scale;

In addition, there is a slight route class 2 on the International Six-Point Scale, which is done at high water levels or by special request.

Who is the program suitable for?

The rafting program is suitable for both beginners and those who already have experience with rowing – we will be happy to inform you about your previous experience when signing up. During the summer months – usually from mid-July, you can take advantage of our Family Rafting program. Rafting as an activity can be perfectly combined with festive occasions such as a birthday, bachelor or bachelorette party, graduation, and why not for your wedding? 🙂 Adventure Net has experience in organizing various rafting games in connection with team building events.

Price: BGN 60 per person

The price includes:

full equipment: rafting boats, life jackets, neoprene (dry!), jackets, helmets, paddles, boots (water shoes). The equipment is the right size for everyone.
the transfer from the finish to the base is done immediately after the descent without unnecessary transfers and waiting.
